There's a story that I like to call "karma's a bitch", you'll see why lol.
When I was 13, a friend got us tickets for a concert, but nobody could take us there and my parents didn't want me to take the bus alone. I sneaked out my bedroom window at night (there's a tree I could use to sneak in and out anytime) and went to the concert w/ my friend, we had a great time.
Took the bus to go home after the concert and I noticed a weird guy who was starin at me, couldn't see his face clearly cause he wore a cap. I got out of the bus when it arrived at my stop and while I was walkin, I looked behind me and ofc, there was the creepy guy who stared at me, walkin behind me. When smth like that happens, you're kinda in denial and wanna think you're just bein paranoid, but I was rly scared deep down. I turned onto streets and crossed streets multiple times to make sure he was followin me, which he was.
So I waited to be out of sight for a brief moment and I started runnin as fast I could. Hid behind a car in a parking lot and waited for like 20 minutes. I could've called my parents, but the fear of gettin scolded outweighed my fear of the creepy guy lol. So I just walked home fast and fortunately, the guy was gone and I made it home safely.
I felt like that was life's way of tellin me "this is what you get for disobeyin".
