Can it get more obvious?

There are exactly 9 vice admirals with an admiral kizaru leading the operation. There are 9 strawhats with yonko luffy as the captain. Its going to be Luffy vs Kizaru and the rest of strawhats fighting a vice admiral each. Just like how every arc its luffy vs the boss while the strawhats fight the commanders/officers. The vice admirals also have exactly 2 females to fight nami and robin.

"but what about Saturn", that fatty doesn't even want to be seen let alone fight....he's there to get infiltrated by lafitte and have his secrets exposed to the world.
"but bonney will fight a vice admiral", no she will not. She is not a straw hat. That's like thinking bepo or wire would fight a flying six in wano.

It doesnt even make any sense for zoro to be fighting a top tier now when he still has commander opponents to get through (shiryu). Then again people thought he would kill a yonko before fighting a commander too.

"but vice admirals are too weak", just like commander king was too weak? Vice admirals are only one rank below admiral, so it makes sense that the strongest one is as strong/stronger than someone who is one rank below yonko. These vice admirals are mostly new characters so of course oda is going to try hype them now for buildup to the final war. The vice admiral that fights zoro will be stronger than king. The vice admiral that fights sanji will be stronger than queen. And Kizaru will be stronger than Kaido.

Yeah, this seems likely.

But really, the VA we have seen so far are far too weak. There was one that freaking Bartholomeo low diff.

Maybe Zoro gets a zodiac VA, and get to flex on him tho. Seems like the most likely scenario.
Anyone thinking Zoro vs Kizaru will happen beyond a clash at best, is deluding themselves. You show know this much from post TS Loda writing.

:seriously:Yeah Kizaru > Kaido when Oda already killed the notion of any emperor and Admirals > Kaido in sbs and manga numerous of times

Anyway, nope the VAs won't be > Queen/King neither
They just have to be YC level to give Zoro and Sanji upper-mid diff battle at least

If Chaton or Momousagi came with Kizaru I would accept either of them fighting Zoro. These two were serious candidates for admiral so fighting them would make sense,but do people really think that Zoro fighting with some fodder VA makes sense at this point in story?Leave them for Usopp.

In their powerscaling stupor, people fail to realize that there's also thousnads of marines and dozens of battleships for each Strawhat to fight.

If this arc will really be a show of strength of the new Yonko crew, then at least the top brass will easuly deal with their VA oponents and then have some fun with the fodder and battleships.

They aren’t 1 Vs 1 fighting them

They’re just clashing them to stall for other shit in this arc. Oda just needed something for some of the other straw hats and cp0 to do

The main flaw in your argument is Kizaru aint the Boss of the Fleet

Wellwe have one's with feats.

Onigumo was able to catch Marco and transport Ace to Marineford.

Momonga was send to deal and protect Hancock.

And we have Bastille who isn't a zodiac VA or a G5 one yet has a impressive frat of a Vet AP whow as able to cut multiple Buildings in a single swing of his sword.

The match ups are potentially quite messy right now, there are the SH plus eventual fighters like the CP0 and seraphims, I doubt Zoro will face even a vice admiral but eventually he can one shot one while passing by to get a bit of hype maybe, more likely the mid or weak trio will take one each.
