Yea i think Imu is never gonna be a woman. Since it's almost definitely Luffy's fight. Even if Imu is a child or little boy, then it will fit. But not a woman. The finale of all fights in One Piece world will not be Luffy vs a woman.

@Cruxroux not really… Bleach did that shit all the time… It was a pass time for Kubo to have woman get swords ran through them… and I don’t remember any backlash for Bleach in that regard… also there’s other manga like black clover and Mu hero academia that have women get severely fucked up all the time and they are popular as ever

notice that no woman has ever even been severely sliced in one piece… Like just a regular Slash clean through their body… No woman has ever even had that

He does have a point. There's a difference between punching once a female and actively beating the shit out of her like he did to Crocodile, Doffy, Lucci, Kaido... Etc. It's not like Luffy can't/won't do it, because he's probably capable of doing so, it's just Oda himself not wanting to do that. And for y'all saying the rather rare occasions of Luffy's "beating" a woman, just look at the difference.
Vivi got punched once and stood up to keep punching Luffy.

The only one getting "beaten" was Luffy himself.

Just compare how he punched Vivi and how he punched Crocodile:

Dismissed thru headcanon. No female came close to getting as beaten as Croco, Lucci, Doffy, Katakuri...etc. And that's a fact. Getting punched once doesn't even come close to how Luffy's main enemies got treated.
