Of course Oda never became that type of person , so he created a fictional character to be that person instead, and that's how Shank's was created. Shanks is a character created by the wishful delusional daydreams of a weakling. Oda makes shanks strong because he wants to send a delusional message to the children and nerds reading this manga. That is, being nice makes you strong, whilst being a bully like greenbull or kid, makes you weak. It just shows how disconnected from reality Oda really is, because the truth is, there is not a single strong person in this world that is like Shanks. There is not a single strong person that lets people pour drinks on their head and does nothing like a coward. Everyone in real life with shanks personality is a passive weakling that gets bullied.

Im not saying that at all but im saying the scenario greatly advantage shanks in that encounter .

How was this fair ? You have 0 proof kid would got one shotted if on guard and realy fighting shanks . Also those weak pirates were attacking Kid and were going to fight him for shanks so why not sinked them ?? Are you serious ? Let your ship get attack since they are weak !


Look at luffy vs kaido for exemple .
Luffy was taking tons of his hit even in base but he got one shotted by him when cp 0 dude apeared and kaido got a free shot in .
Oden also got one shotted when Kaido got a free hit on him .
SO Kid getting one shotted by shanks when he get a free hit on him prove what ??
We all wanted a better fight !
Shanks should not have been advantaged by the scenario.
Why advantaging the stronger of the 2 ? It make no sense other then for the figh to end quick .
