Imo, itll be big by virtue of being teased so long and so many tie.s. This and Wano were the 2 things Oda had essentially teased since Pre-TS, and we know how Wano turned out (lengthwise).

Theres also the fact that Elbaf exists in a place called "Warland", which implies its a massive region with other islands there. I highly doubt its a pitstop, especially with Vegapunk

You are moving the goal posts, who said anything about defeating Kizaru? This isn't Wano, we're not getting a full on battle 1v1 set up like Wano or Enies Lobby etc. SHs are literally trying to escape. All this time you thought we're getting Wano style fights?

Thing is, it is spelled out that this will be a "big incident". And there is no way that "big incident" is just a normal escape.

Also, thematically:
1) Zoro needs to have a rematch and defeat Kizaru.
2) Luffy needs to confirm his status as a Yonko - you have seen how Robb Lucci has acted. And this means defeating the Navy here, not running away from them.

its important to remember his next fight is shiryu not some top tier. if anyone is defeating kizaru here , its luffy which again would solidify his status as a yonko.

This is very clearly Kizaru's "antagonistic" arc. He has ties to several characters. He is here to kill VP, an ally of Luffy.

No, Shanks left Elbaf. Elbaf probably has its own issues.

I hope Kizaru fights Luffy this arc will be a great time for him flex and get some spotlight. Luffy fights are always treated well just look at big mom and kaido for example.

I guess it will focus on Loki and Ussop reunion with Dorry and Borgy and their crews

Luffy fighting Kizaru at some point doesn't mean Zoro won't fight him either. Plus Luffy is with Franky, Bonney, Lilith. If they come across Kizaru, it'll be a team fight anyway.

There were countless posts last week about Kizaru and his "just get the job done" mindset, he just follows orders and doesnt care for anything etc etc and now the cope is "but he held back, he's his friend".

Yankers on the other side probably took a bigger L cause everyone and their mother knew that the Admirals are on par with Emperors, and here comes Goofy to confirm that a very powerful person has arrive. Stretching the Sentomaru thing isnt gonna do anything, you will only get 2 extra weeks of slandering before Kizaru neg/low diff some characters at Egghead.


On topic, no fucking way for the crew to escape just like that after the introduction of all the VAs.
Do you think that there is any chance for the crew to separate after Egghead ?

The point is, he's teasing characters he intends to highlight. I highy doubt we are getting 10 1v1's, but this evidently a big conflict coming.


It wouldnt be called a "seige" if they escaped in 3 chapters. Also the fact that Saturn wants Kizaru to protect 3 things, absolutely means that shit aint going to pan out the way they want considering this scene:

Idk why ppl still on the "only clashes, they will escape" cope, since it goes against the shocking event thing.

Because, in theory, "Strawhat Luffy left, took Vegapunk + whatever BBP will do" is a big incident.

The actual narration calls it a "Seige". We have not seen any "Seiging" yet thus far.

There is very clearly narrative intent to ruin the shit Kizaru's instructed goals

- Kill Stella? You know he's living

- Protect York? Yeah Catarina or Laffite will kidnap her probably

- Protect the Mother Flame Factory? That shit will get destroyed. We havent even seen it yet, so we definitely will.

- Protect Punk Records? Again, the island is surrounded by 30K marines and battleships, do people not expect this island to get blown to fuck in the end?
