Decided to check the release dates for all the Gens.

Gen 2 was released 3 years after Gen 1

Gen 3 was released 3 years after Gen 2

Gen 4 was released 4 years after Gen 3

Gen 5 was released 4 years after Gen 4

The rest are all 3 years lol.
