Having said this and trying to bring a bit of realism into that banter thread:
You all saw that Luffy was looking down into bright light, which is why his face was shaded that way, right?
You can even see the light rays at the side of the panel, Oda always shades faces that way when they look into light.
The only thing that really indicates that Luffy is a bit worried are those two (!) beads of sweat on his head ...
