Big Mom chasing Usopp and Chopper for the rest of the arc. Big Mom pirate still struggle in their way up against Pell.

None of this is going to turn into an actual fight. All these guys were running away last chapter remember

You saw the Apoo business last chapter. If luffy or anyone stops to actually fight then Apoo and Queen are right behind them and will catch up and if all these guys actually start fighting then who's who and King will join and then if all these guys join then Kaido will join and the series will end with luffy crucified and that's not happening

Luffy would have to ONE SHOT all these guys and end the fights immediately for him to not die when kaido finally arrives

Idk, we've had volumes with a few back to back badass chapters. I feel like Oda could have dragged Marco's arrival to the final chapter of the volume but instead dropped it on 981. I think we can still get some good endings.
