Do you take the characters' words as facts? I don't think that's the best way of proving your point here. characters in a story have their own feelings and problems, sometimes what they say is not what they mean.

Because as far as I remember Kaido also said that "Winners need no retinizations" or something like that. But he was never truly happy when he beat Oden or G4 Luffy. So he doesn't really mean what he said there

Both are dope, the matchup's good whether it's a proper fight or a short clash. Lucci isn't tanking KoH though, so it smells of the later.
