Entirely possible to me that Kizaru doesn't lose here but no way in hell is the crew leaving with a clear loss. Not after becoming an emperors crew and not with Oda as the writer.

Imo there’s no way Kizaru doesn’t get defeated here. I think the loss of an admiral is the minimum of what needs to happen for this to be a major event to the world.
