The difference between transgender vs transracial is that race literally isn’t a real thing. It’s a concept invented by some dudes in order to justify slavery and colonialism.
Gender is real. It’s tied to biology. So it makes sense how someone’s mind might not associate with the gender their physical body would seem to present.
Transgender = I literally cannot identify with my body and current gender.
Transracial = I want to be “Asian” because I love BTS and anime

Like “black people” refers to various peoples and ethnic groups of African heritage, all with different cultures and often different physical appearances.
A Semitic Ethiopian, a Congolese Pygmy, a South African bushman, and an African American(who are often like 10-20% white) all have very unique physical characteristics.
Yet from a European perspective they’re all “black”

I don’t disagree that race is a social construct, I was just correcting what you said. Dividing by race isn’t a new concept, hell it isn’t really a thing in Europe either. There really isn’t a united white identity in europe. A guy from London and a guy from Eastern Europe probably don’t see each other as the same.
Same goes for African countries. A guy from Ethiopia and a guy from Nigeria both hold very different identities when it comes to their race. It’s why African immigrants often don’t identify with black American culture

Like have y’all heard the stories of kids adopting from Korea by Americans whose dumbass parents never filed the paperwork to get them citizenship. Then like 40 years later these people, who were raised by White Americans and have lived their entire lives in the US, come to realize they are technically illegal immigrants.
They get deported to South Korea and quite a few of them have subsequently committed suicide.
More common issue faced by Asian Americans:
you come from an immigrant family, meaning hardly any of your family lives in the US. You grow up amongst white people and have little to no cultural identity.
Now you’re an adult and you don’t know who you are.
And that’s why I’m converting to Judaism, lmao
