The truth is Zoro is stronger than both of them. Luffy and Sanji need a transformation to become strong. Meanwhile Zoro only fought with his trained base form 😌

?

The problem is, Zoro hasn't had a fight that has pushed his limit since Kaku/the Pacifista at Sabaody. Hyouzou, Monet and Pica were all jokes. He's literally in the same boat as Luffy/Sanji.

Yep Zoro has faced no real opponent that could have forced him to overcome his limits after TS, unlike Luffy he hasn't faced any warlord or Yonko Commander and Fujitora was holding back his true power during Dressrosa arc while Kyoshiro wasn't serious enough, all his main opponents (Hyouzou, Monet, Pica) postskip were underwhelming.

Cyrus the Cactus

Mihawk Reigns Supreme
Zoro losing fights is important for him. He is not invincible.
Zoro losing a fight as a wake up call would be a rehash of shit he went through pre-TS. Losing to Mihawk made Zoro extremely insecure about his strength (look at his after arc training during Alabasta and Thriller Bark), then learning what Luffy went through made him bow to Mihawk for training.

How would Zoro grow from losing to someone that he hasn’t already learned?

Point to note is that according to his Vivrecard the scar on his face reflects how hard his training was during those two years.

Unlike Luffy or Sanji he didn't have enemies to train with (like those animals in Luffy island or the Okama ) so he actually trained with Mihawk , I think this is the reason of Oda treatment so far .

(The monkeys were defeated before the training started even)

Losing is normal. It's stupid if he can't lose to anyone. Do Zoro fans really want Zoro to just fight against Kaido and defeat him? :whitepress:
