I understand, but after Katakuri, Chinjao or the void on paper also called Yamato had it (but I could go on), I find difficult thinking that ones such as Kizaru and Fuji don't. And imho Aokiji had already shown it against Garp.
Tbh, the peculiar style of Kizaru could remain. CoC seems just a multiplier to me.
But maybe Oda will show that one can indeed be a top tier nevertheless.

It's simple: CoA is what you use to hit Logia's, Defend, and enhance attacks. Like it always has.
CoC: can knock out people with weaker wills, tame animals, split sky (maybe manipulate weather), damage surroundings (uncontrollably it seems).
The only thing I really posit is that when you hit someone with CoC infused attacks (aCoC), they essentially feel exhausted and as if the attack were much stronger than it actually is. But people refuse to believe that the weird as fuck CoC ability list can also include debuffing the target.
People are confused because Kaido remarked at Luffy's usage of CoC, which many baddies have done before. But CoA is the bare minimum requirement for Luffy to hit Kizaru, CoC would be an add-on for extra damage.

CoA can be combined with CoC, improving both adds to someone’s overall AP.
Barrier and Emission are just skills that can be used with ether CoA, CoC, or both at the same time. Luffy when using just CoA with barrier and emission couldn’t penetrate Kaidou’s scales deep enough to do much damage, when he unlocks the ability to use CoC for coating he is then able to penetrate Kaidou deeper with barrier and emission since he is using CoC and CoA with those skills amplifying them to much greater levels then when he just used CoA.

Barrier/Emission Haki IS CoA. It is not, and was never CoC.
That alone makes it worth, it’s literally what stopped Luffy from touching Kaido’s Flame Bagua.
