One thing I noticed about synagogues that I never saw with churches is the attention paid to security.

Most synagogues I’ve been to have had some sort of security/police presence. In addition unless there is a service you often need to be let into the building

yeah there aren’t many nazis. But you only need one dude who is crazy enough to do something to kill a lot of people.
