WB could have asked for Oden's whereabouts when he met Roger for the final time.....And I'm sure WB knows that Kaido is ruling Wano....He surely must have thought Oden must be in trouble...But maybe Roger would have told WB not to interfere with Oden's fight as Oden requested Roger's crew not to interfere....

King is the least hyped and weakest 1st commander

Kyoushiro has better portrayal, hype and feats than King but I'll give King some bonus for being ancient zoan so he might outlast Denjiro.

All I'm saying is while you guys are shitting on Oda calling it bad/lazy writing, I am just suggesting that based on the story so far and yonkou portrayals, there could be several reasons why Marco saying they didn't know about Wano current situation isnt totally absurd....
