Both Roger and oden knew the prophecy and I can buy the reason about wb not interfering in wano.


But what doesn't make sense is why WBP were unaware of oden's fate especially when they knew that kaido is there and Ace visited wano.

We have to Wait for the chapter to make more sense out of it.

Well, raw translations or not it is clear that WBP didn't know what Kaido did to Oden.
I wonder how the f' Oda is going to explai:
a) Ace in Wano and no word to WB about the situation there
b) Izo not coming back to Wano
c) Yonko's wide knowledge and info
d) Just a f;ing concern? Did Whitebeard really thought that a guy like Oden bumped his fist with the likes of Kaido this easy?

Why is clear that they didint know what kaido did to oden??? They can know and for some reason that Will yet to be revealed they didint come to avenge him.

The only clear thing to me is that marco didint know wano was suffering this much, and this make sense

Marco never said that they didn't know that Oden was dead. He may not know who killed him but they knew he was dead.

Ace didn't mention Wano's situation because... Why would he even mention it? He wasn't with Shirohige when he went to Wano for the first time, why would he even mention wano?

The thing that i still don't understand is why didn't Izou return to Wano? He had 2 years and he's going now. Well if he married someone or something like that then it may be justified...

I totally understand now why Oda never wanted to draw an arc as long as Dressrosa ever again.

The gap in quality writing between arcs like Zou/WCI/Wano etc is crazy.

The man's not made for these hug ass arcs where tons of different characters from different fractions are involved

These problems started on Marineford, the success of that arc has started all the trends that we hate today

It only worked in Marineford because it was seen as a "special" arc, then Oda decided to write normal arcs with that style and it ruined everything

Sasaki is supposed to be one of the top fighters in the Beast Pirates and a ruthless combatant, you gonna tell me him letting his guard down and letting someone fool him into getting chained up makes him look GOOD? You gonna powerscale him to YC1 for this, or even higher?

Idk what people are complaining about. This does not mean that they didn’t know about Oden’s death or that Kaido was on Wano, this reads to me as Marco not knowing that the situation on Wano currently is as bad as it is with the labor camps, prison camps, etc.

Also, regarding Oden, if they didn’t know, would that really make so little sense? It would imply then that no one knew except for people of Wano, and since news from there is isolated, it wouldn’t have gotten out. Neko and Inu would have left the island, but they were retainers and knew about the 20 year prophecy, so they wouldn’t have gone to seek help regardless because of it. Oden also jumped ship from Whitebeard to Roger, so it’s reasonable if they thought for a time that he jumped with Kaido after he left Roger’s crew.

I’d like it to be more explained, but I doubt it means what everyone is jumping to.

Kid is not that much stronger than Law, if at all. They’ve just been portrayed equally as Luffy’s rivals. There’s also little to suggest they’re above Marco. Whatever the case, Law and Kid are on the same level.
