Im sure there will be pay off, but oda needs an easy way to integrate the BB Pirates. And he seemingly brought a woman who can transform and sanjis future match up.

Yeah, i mean, Pudding needs to be involved, because Sanji would care about her.

Im not fully convinced that Sanji isn't trully Sanji simply because of the Stussy thing, but the fact Sanji isn't seen in 1092 (i mean, Nami is alone there and Pudding got kicked) is definitely odd, and alongside the Stussy situation this could possible mean that was indeed a fake Sanji, although he could've simply left to clap Lucci's ass, which is still a possibility tho.

And honestly this is the best way for Sanji to find out that Pudding was captured. Is by Lafitte spilling those beans

Leaving Nami alone and not jumping Kizaru to protect Bonney (i mean she has been an ally since the start of the arc, i could make an argue for Sanji not being desperate for Stussy, but Bonney as well? Nah this feels really odd right now, he even felt her calling for help while underwater)

And not just stopping Kizaru, something as simple as him catching her before she flies out the grid would fit just as well.

If Sanji ends up fighting anything different from Kizaru, Lucci, or Saturn, I don't know if I would be able to keep reading OP.

Personally I think he is going to bubble Lucci and then help Luffy. Sanji and Zoro deserve to fight against Kizaru alongside their captain. Jinbe, Robin and the strawhat grand fleet can fight the VAs

There was no pay off after he fell in the "Ah my Lord" trap

It won't tho. There were so many things that led to Sanji, but at the end never happened or somebody else took his place.
