With the BB scenario, Ray thinks they’re all dead if his gamble didn’t work.

This my whole point, shanks is a copy of Rayleigh and vice versa, the fact still remains that shanks is ~40 year old in prime with the same portrayal as a ~70 year old, I'm saying it's impossible to put shanks ABOVE Rayleigh BC he has nothing that surpasses Rayleigh, this in itself opens up the possibility to argue that Rayleigh MAY be better in prime than Shanks.

There's a 30 year difference between them yet the feats and portrayal are the same, you can't say that looks as cool on paper for shanks
