If not I can see the reason why oda split him up with the rest for one point, he get a fight soon...
Either he winning off or he get defeated too, otherwise it doesn´t make sense for Oda to splitt Pero up with the rest of the crew, it would mean he has a plan with Perospero.

Well I know Yamato WILL NOT join the crew so what I'm interested in is how the story will deal with this.
Like What will happen if Luffy says no. Will Yamato lose his mind coz he's some brat who's never been told no or some shit like that.
Or will yamato fight kaido to prove he should join and then Kaido ONE SHOTS his own son and gets Murderous rage to kill luffy.
This could be very interesting because Yamato is important and yet there is no way he will actually join so Oda has to put in some work in writing him now since his goal is impossible.
To me i put good character drama above everything else. That's why Oden is one of the worst characters I've seen in this story. He has NO CHARACTER DRAMA. He's just a Chad who does Chad things. His goal is to leave wano and thats the write goal to have and he just has it from nowhere and he accomplishes it by beige a Chad with the only obstacle being a a physical challenge and not a character based challenge.
So present Yamato as a person who has goal (joining the strawhats) and the goal is impossible (because plot) and already he's a far more interesting character than Oden and I'm all for it
