What is the greatest law in the One Piece universe? Devil Fruit users can't swim, they sink. But, why is that?

Let's ask good old (soon to be dead) Dr. Vegapunk, the Stella himself.

"The earn the ire of Mother Nature... the sea itself. Such blasphemy cannot go unchecked.

So, more or less, those who used Devil Fruits are unable to swim because nature, the sea itself, is rejecting them.

Who controls the seas?

Imu, the ruler of the world.

So... if that's the case, why on earth would Imu, the ruler of the sea, curse their own subordinates, who are directly loyal to them, the Gorosei?

They wouldn't, and this is what makes the Gorosei VERY overpowered: they can swim.

Luffy can't swim. Luffy can't swim. Luffy can't swim, nobody canna stop the Saturn.

I think the freakshow magical circle might have something to do with this? Like, the Gorosei are being summoned in their true form, without the weaknesses and restrictions other Devil Fruit users use.

I fully expect someone to shoot Saturn with a bubble gun, then be confused when nothing happens, and the Seastone Bubbles fail to weaken him. Even better would Saturn being kicked into the sea, only to climb out of it like a fucking Kaiju.

The reason I think they ate Fruits is because Saturn has the Awakening clouds. We shall see, though, I'm fine either way, them being outright demons/devils would be awesome.

I think that devils might just also awaken, though I could be wrong. But for now I think Oda is about to go crazy with Saturn!

I want to see Saturn rise out of the sea like Godzilla so fucking badly, now.

No wonder the Marines can't rebel against the WG, even if they can't swim, the Gorosei look like total monsters, literally. We have no idea what the range on that summoning circle is, either. Imagine this guy threatening your hometown? Yikes. Egghead has become such a great arc.

I think it is very likely all jokes aside. Oda had this guy appear via a fucking magic circle, just like the guys that tried to summon a devil but actually got Brook. That shit was no normal zoan transformation, lets be clear here. Not even Luffy did anything like this when he turns Gear 5. Saturn seems very special.

Or he has the awakening cloud because he's an actual devil and the devil fruits were made as a means to "fight fire with fire" 🤔

I think the Gorosei aren't the Humanoids they made themselves look like for every other appearence they've been seen in Prior to the Egghead arc. . . Those "Transformations" of theirs; are them in their true forms;

and that's why they don't have to worry about Drowning or sinking; they Don't get their powers from eating an Akuma no Mi!!

I Wouldn't be surprised. . . They Break every rule established throughout the story;

Those with Supernatural Powers like Transformations, Drown & Sink into the Ocean if they land into Water; due to eating Akuma No Mi;

whereas the Gorosei; having Transformations themselves, aren't in danger of Drowning & Sinking; which has never been done before for some reason
