Religious Zionism is such a garbage ideology and is honesty a big reason why this conflict has dragged out for so long.

The original Zionists, people like Herzl, never cared about Judaism. They just wanted to create a Jewish homeland, really anywhere, where Jews could be safe and have self determination.

If Israeli just stuck to it’s post independence borders and never did the 6 days war, I honestly feel like the conflict would have ended decades ago.

I agree in part with you. But the 6-day war was inevitable after the Palestinian attacks and the stupid move of the Egyptians. Frankly after they displaced the natives in 48 there was very little that could have been done to avoid conflicts.

The Jewish people should have created a state in a place like Oceania in my opinion. But after they decided for the Middle-East it was fated.

After israel took Jerusalem, they literally created a holiday commemorating their capture of the city. It’s called “Jerusalem day”.

It was a mix of both. They used the blockade and the terrorist attacks as excuse and managed to capture one of the most important cities in the world. For historical and religious alone this is enough to create a Holiday even in self defense.

People have started to come around on this issue in the last couple of years. A lot of people condemn Israel actions, especially in NYC of all places. I know plenty of anti-Zionist Jews.

Cause they can analyse. Most of the people is empty inside. The government put nasty shit in their head's and continue to doing it. And they accept it. Illusion of freedom - you don't have that one. Illusion of decisions - the government doing it for you.
