Expanding on this, Saturn has been insanely hyped.
He's being built up as this plus ultra larger than life threat.
He's the big bad. A force beyond even the Admirals.
The opponent that has been super hyped throughout this arc has been Saturn not Borsalino.
All this hype is so that Nika can defeat him.
If Borsalino was the big bad that would fall at Luffy's hands, he'd have been the one crazy hyped instead.
Compare how Katakuri was hyped in WCI.
Im WCI, Katakuri was presented as an even more formidable threat than Linlin.
That depiction hasn't been there with Borsalino. He's not trying to kill the Strawhats.
He's not massively more competent than Saturn.
He's just Saturn's top subordinate.

The common sense thing was they both going stay down this chpater for saturn hype.
Oda right now in Saturn mode Kizaru and Luffy can chill out in the back .
