I'm not surprised. Not counting the eyebrow change, the netflix adaptation did a magnificent job with Sanji.

This scene alone just oozes charisma and really made me feel as though Sanji had come to life.
The back and forth between Sanji and the rest of the cooks is just genius. The jazzy music is just the icing on top. :sanjismug:

People do the same shit over and over again, its like they said sanji wont fight a commender alone.

In the end he will defeat a gorosei which for me surpass my expectations, i expected him to defeat an admiral who are very strong, but not the pinnacle of strength, but now after seeing the portryal of gorosei they are at the top of power in the OP universe, surpassing most of admirals AND yonkos, if sanji defeats a gorosei with even higher rank he should be no less then the level of shanks and kaido EOS.

My dream would be Sanji uses it on the VAs and below knocking them out; and Bonney being rescued by Saturn directly by Kuma… but I’m not getting my hopes up. I feel like this flashback is to set up Kumas return
Me too, reading the chapter my impression is that it's luffy and kuma who are going to intervene but sanji and bonney have developed a relationship in these last chapters so he's also a candidate to save her.
The fact that marine fodder is put there and saturn's df power makes me think it's a set-up for coc

It's also possible that other critical moments like this will occur in the future and that kuma will intervene. Don't forget that the man crossed mariejois two chapters ago and that there's still a long way to go.

Don’t get your hopes up lol remember Kumas coming
Im having a hard time seeing him doing something relevant in a fight tho, Akainu even took off his foot.

I think he might help, but not as an major combatant, but more as a support since his DF is perfect for that (like to remove pain and "teleport" people), and obviously also as the most important character to Bonney's character arc.

That Ancient Robot should've meant something at this point, he supposedly awakened a few chapter ago but is still nowhere to be seen, he might end up just playing an importance to the lore and storytelling but not as someone strong who will do something big..

Here’s the thing is currently Saturns actual fighting power doesn’t look great. His paralysis hax and that eye destruction thing is pretty strong; however, Kumas body is more than strong enough to take the latter and him being filled with robotics should help him deal with the former.

The way I see it:
Kuma arrives and sends everyone (Luffy/Franky/Sanji/Vegapunk/Bonney) away to the ancient robot
Vegapunk powers the robot somehow
Bonney and Luffy run back to Kuma in time to see Saturn murder him after some stalling
Luffy lunges at Saturn, Kizaru blocks him
Bonney falls over distressed
Saturn about to step on her gets stopped by the ancient robot
