This will never stop until we start thinking of ourselves as fellow humans and stop using these made up labels that don't really mean all that much. I admire how you strive to build community but religion is not the best way of doing so, I still think there's a way forward where both Palestinians and Israelis become one people and shed these useless labels that have drove them to kill each other for so long.

Giving them right to return and treating them equally is the only way this conflict ends.

The entirety of the land used to be theirs pre-independence. And ever since they have been killed, expelled, and ghettoized so that Jews, a minority of the population pre-independence, can control a majority of the land.

Until this issue is resolved, the Palestinians will always view Israelis as the evil occupiers who took their land.

Yeah, a bunch of Arab countries are like that too and they have tried to normalize relationships with Israel. Also a secular state doesn't guarantee peace. You can literally look up a bit north and see how the Kurds have tried to break apart from largely secular states to form their own nation.

Yeah and Muslim Brotherhood assasinated a president because they deemed he was to reconciliatory to the Jews for negotiating peace. Both sides have extremes who want "from land to the sea" with their religious faction leading, and on top of that the average citizen identifies with their nation and you want to force them together.

Again, you don't have to look far to see that this doesn't guarantee peace. And establishing secular in that area hasn't worked for the west. Stuff like that needs to be organic, led by the people who live there.
