The worst part is that sandman said that both translations were correct and he was saying that TCB was better because it portrayed better the gravity of Luffy's punch, he was not even defending their agenda.

sandman translates the manga and clarifies stuff, he has a big relevance in helping people understand the story and the official manga.

The fact that he casually said that Luffy defeated Kizaru and is questioning whether Zoro will also defeat Kizaru gets to show how this is in fact the conclusion anyone should be taking and that calling this a tie is just copium and mental gymnastics pulled by a very specific fandom.

Luffy has a pretty signature way of telling he defeated his foes, especially big foes. Second, Sandman being a translator is completely irrelevant, he translates and he is susceptible at giving his opinions. And his opinion here is that Luffy defeated Kizaru, just like yours, and it's fine.

What is messed up is you thinking that his opinion is worth more than other people's opinion because he is "Sandman - The translator", and then post a random tweet tagging like 12 people. It was just unwarranted, mind aswell just tag the people and state your opinion.

Oda missed many opportunities to better tell the story in the way he normally does. I am certain the guy is tired and exhausted, both emotionally and physically.

The story won't be top notch quality as some expect it to be.
