All jokes aside, if you believe in free market capitalism, you believe in liberalism or at least to a certain degree. Even if you have an authoritarian state that has a big hand in controlling the economy, as long as the means of productions are still privately owned that is objectively not socialism. Having a social safety net is not equal to socialism. Plenty of right wing states have social programs.
