Even if you have an authoritarian state that has a big hand in controlling the economy, as long as the means of productions are still privately owned that is objectively not socialism. Except that Hitler did confiscate property from people that were his political enemies.Here in Brazil,there is this weird legal concept that allows the government to basically steal private property if they can justify it as being good for society. Also,modern day communists are not the same as the old ones.Look at China and Russia.Marxist economy doesn't work.They don't care about owning means of production anymore.They care about cultural and political hegemony and keeping a fake democracy.

Not personal perception.I'm talking about modern day communism and not fucking communism form 70 years ago.Only Cuba and North Korea follow the old soviet model.Private property is literally a human right.Expropriation is crimes against humanity.The left does it here.There is a movement called MST(movimento sem terra) that are basically terrorists and no authority does anything about them.They are in cahoots with drug dealers,they invade farms,kill farmers,occupy the land and later legalize it as their.
