I think he will see Bonney under care of Nika and will finally be relieved that liberator is here and might tried to pull something like self destruction but taking Saturn with himself to help SHs escape

He spent 2 years guarding sunny with no sign of turning blue though lol, then as a slave in Marijoa. We are assuming a lot of things here:

- That he can take diseases with him
- That he hadnt tried to take the disease from her already
- That modifying his body stops the disease.

If turning him into a cyborg stops the disease, then it doesnt explain why he "needed" to get his mind wiped, especially since hes still alive with no signs of a disease affecting him

I literally gave you a reason why he could’ve done it. Akainu and Saturn have shown concern with Bonney before, it could’ve been than Kuma made a deal with the WG to keep her safe, and since his body is rotting away he agreed to die

Do I believe Oda had dedicated ideas and intent with Kuma? Absolutely.

Do I believe that said desires and intent explicitly included Bonney back during Thriller Bark? No

Just like how Oda said he had Alabasta in mind, but didn't consider giving it a princess until one day he was drawing Vivi and went "She actually looks very princess like"

At this point oda should’ve just cut the emperors and made it strictly luffy fighting the warlords.

Law literally turned himself in to save his comrades lol. Dragon would never do something as brave as that, the man was still running the help desk meanwhile Ginny was being kidnapped, Kuma was getting killed and Iva chan was being sent to a frozen hell

One of the best OP chapters since I started reading the manga.

Ginny was a great character even tho her panel time was short. The disease freed her from a lifetime of abuse. I don't know why dragon couldn't find out intel on ginny's location. I hope we get some kind of explanation for Dragon's inaction for 2 years.

Kuma is one of the best characters in this series. I wish we can atleast see him retaliating against CD or Saturn for all his sufferings before he dies.

Well,maybe he thought about Kuma's backstory beforehand.Bonney could have existed previously,despite the other supernovas being made on the fly.BlackBeard was considered a supernova nad he was introduced early on.

I think @Topi Jerami has a point. How can Dragon be Luffy's father? At least Garp immediately rescued Coby and took Roger's kid to protect him but Dragon? He left his son, he couldn't protect Ginny, he couldn't protect Kuma either. Two of them are core members of his organisation but there isn't even a reason why he didn't try to rescue Ginny. He freed a country from a tyrant, only for the tyrant to reappear again. He ran away from BB and freaking CP0 who were stopped by BMP iirc.
Seriously, were they even going to rescue Kuma if it wasn't for Sabo?

Dragon better redeems himself soon otherwise he's also on the fraud watch.

Dragon don't got plot armour Luffy has and this when revs were much weaker.
It took them 20 to attack the holy land and did not even kill any CDs.
Had good people with DF for the job but still lucky cause fuji was fucking around and Sabo almost died .
Also dragon running away make sense why would stay and fight pirates , it just like BB runing from Akainu why stay fight with nothing to gain .
Also we will see kuma make his deal with WG for bonney and dragon can't protect Kuma from that .

There are priorities fam
Dragon’s priority is not himself, nor his friends
He is on a selfless mission to take down a tyrannical organization that is larger than life

If he is to sabotage his vision at every turn to save one person, he’s dooming humanity as a whole
Luffy is just some retard who wants to be PK for selfish reasons
Law wants to learn about his history, selfish reasons
Roger is a retard who wanted adventure etc

Dragon carries a heavier burden than all these combined, and if he wants to fulfill this vision he needs a methodical approach

Friend, this aint just about Ginny. Its people being frustrated at the collectiveness of nothingness in regards to Dragon.
People wouldnt have an issue if Dragon would do something that is worthy of being a revolutionary that opposes the WG.

He literally left Sorbet to fend for itself.
Now the King came back cause Dragon did nothing about him either and seemingly also did not expect anything retaliation.


Of course, this is also after failing against BB or Iva being left to rot in Impel down as well among other things.

He is leading an army to war against the strongest organisation in the world. He needs to be careful with his actions.
But i don't understand why he can't rescue his 2 founding members in a covert mission.
