Vista was a commander on the whitebeard pirates. That’s not a L for Mihawk, If anything it’s a W for Vista and the strength of the whitebeard pirates. Would vista win absolutely not, could he put up some of a fight well he should he’s a commander. Oda doesn’t keep giving us context of Mihawks strength this late in the series just to be like yeah he’s a fraud

How do you explain giving buggy a lower bounty than Mihawk and calling buggy superior.
Only conclusion I can reach is his Frozen bounty was that much and they unfreezed it. Decreasing it would make no sense who already a that level threat 9 years ago.
He's more of a threat now.
Also mihawk is the only one who's Frozen bounty was never shown.

There is no explanation here other than them stating that they will update their bounty. And i know yes Mihawk bounty was never revealed to us.
They wouldn't decrease his bounty. Mihawk bounty was probably updated before the Cross Guild was made. But giving Buggy lower a bounty than him is unknown.
Maybe they think Buggy is on par with Shanks

You can't decrease a Frozen bounty , it has to go higher or stay the same.
Which is mihawk case , it's the same.
No shame in that as Shiryu needed the help of an army of pirates+ lots and lots of attempts+ Garp having to worry about Coby to have an opening.

Why say decrease ? All the other warlords has increased bounties. He must have his increased as well.
If his bounty was increased where do you think his was at? I always thought around 1billion because back then i thought Bounty scaling was distributed in balance (fame - notoriety - influence - Strength)
Then Cross Guild happens and turns out 90% Strength which should make Shanks bounty around 3bill as well if he was not a Yonkou

Remove crew and influence from WB and Kaido , they fall to 3B range as well.
They won't be having their huge 4.6 B and 5 B bounties.
