if he has a special gimmick is an L for Shanks fans who were arguing the whole time that Shanks has other abilities aside sword skills...but if it turns out that it is Mihawk who has extra abilities it's an L for Shanks fans :gokulaugh:
...let's be real
Mihawk being from a special race with a gimmick ability is an L no matter how you slice it:kayneshrug:

First, light passes through the cornea (the clear front layer of the eye). The cornea is shaped like a dome and bends light to help the eye focus. Some of this light enters the eye through an opening called the pupil. The iris (the colored part of the eye) controls how much light the pupil lets in. Next, light passes through the lens (a clear inner part of the eye). The lens works together with the cornea to focus light correctly on the retina. When light hits the retina (a light-sensitive layer of tissue at the back of the eye), special cells called photoreceptors turn the light into electrical signals. These electrical signals travel from the retina through the optic nerve to the brain. Then the brain turns the signals into the images he sees.

I think the double ringed eyes indicate possession. Cavendish gets them when he is possessed by Hakuba. IMU Nerona could be possessed by whatever entity is calling himself Mu. Zunesha could be possessed by the person sentenced to walk the seas for their crime.

Big Mom could be possessed partly by the sport of Mother Carmel or whatever causes her to black out in Elbaf.

Mihawk could be possessed by Yoru.

It’d be dope if zoro was or is capable of doing that already with his swords. It being the reason he a ryuma have 1 eye would be cool

It can't be something like special Haki or whatever, Mihawk has those eyes ever since he was a kid, unless you want to say that he was a COO god the moment he was born.

If it was something he trained to have, I also believe S-Hawk wouldn't have it.

It's purely genetic but I haven't a clue of it's significance.
