Shin and Ou hon technically are not part of Ousen's Army, if he's the greatest Qin 6 GG rn he ought to be able to match SBS army without the two..?
Can't be one sided battle that would be shameful for Ousen.
This! Shin and Ouhon are not part of his army. He is missing just one of his generals. Ousen should be able to counter Seika forces by himself with strategy and his generals. Think we are underestimating his generals a bit too much.

does it ever feel like the story is making no progress at all?
RBK being arrested didn't really lead to anything.
Qin only took a tiny bit of territory.
RBK just mentioned that shin killed a bunch of his generals but we now have way more zhao generals than before Shin killed those.
It's implied Qin will lose here which means there won't be progress here either.
Qin just lost the last battle too and lost kanki and unlike Zhao they can't pull legendary generals out of their ass.

I see where you're coming and I vaguely remember the history spoilers but I believe Hara is trying to leave out nothing when it comes to the downfall of Zhao, it's the main and most important part of the Unification to defeat RBK so I believe he wants to show every battle they had up until RBK's downfall.

He can be very fast if he wants too, look at Juuko.

I bet not even Wei and Chu combined will take as long.

Wasnt wei conquered in one battle by diverting the flow of a river or was that han?

Thankfully I forgot. Don't even know anymore in which order the states fell and I won't refresh my memory.

I know like 3 major spoilers, 2 for the Chu which we all probably know and RBK's end.

Apart from that I'm extremely excited for the future
Rbk wont die like irl or he would be dead already

Wait. Did Hara change his end ?
I thought its happening after this campaign ?
If i remember correctly RBK and SBS defended against Qin successfully twice or so, then they gave up and focused on another state and in that time RBK was arrested and executed and Zhao was hit by several earthquakes after which Qin conquered Zhao in one swoop

If im not mistaken that was supposed to happen 4 yrs ago

Of course there will be progress.

The purpose here is to introduce Shibashou as a new big enemy. Houken was introduced as the man who killed Kyou and Riboku appeared in the story via his victory over Ouki. Now it's Shibashou's time to appear and kick some Qin ass. The Conquest of China was potrayed as a titanic achievement, you can't expect things to always go smoothly.

Akou is a beast but none of the other liutenants that Ousen has can compete with Seika's set. Jiaga is a beast and he's the weakest amongst Shibashou’s current vassals, as Kansaro and Gakushou were hyped up to be, respectively, Seika's strongest and second strongest liutenant.

Denrimi, Sou'Ou, Shiryou (let's put her too even though she is Sou'Ou deputy and not a "direct" subordinate of Ousen)...compared to them? Lmfao.
Ngl Akou might have a shot at them, half dead Zenou bare handed crushed one of his general's head

Tho Kansaro and Jiaga seem to give off a different vibe

Thats fine you can still portray it as a big achievement without stalling the story by havin riboku have a factory of legendary generals

Denrimi is a pretty decent tactician I wouldn’t underestimate him
Shiryou was having a go at Batei, and Sou’Ou is probably even stronger than her
Based on the Seika commanders we've seen so far Ji Aga should one shot those guys lol.
Wasn't this one old Seika dude knocking Shin around in the battle against Kanki ?

Would that even work?
Riboku went to great lengths to make it absolutely impossible for Ouki to foresee that another army was approaching.

I would imagine hiding an army of several thousand right under RBK's nose in their home turf would require extreme amounts of PIS for it to work.
Probably not. :kobeha:

But if anyone could pull a fast one like that on Ri Boku, it's Ou Sen. :watchout:

The crazy thing is it seems all Seika commanders can fight

Even Gaku Shou who seems to be the smart type can wield the glaive

I don’t think Denrimi is as strong as him martially for exemple
The mfer can't just wield a glaive, the dude can effortlessly bifurcate numerous soldiers like nothing.

That said, he's an absolute dead man. Dude can legitimately be accused of arrogance and the habit of looking down on his opponents. He has the least mystique remaining of SBS's vassals, which imo makes him the most expendable.

I had initially thought Kyou Kai would find her way over to Ou Sen's side of the battle and taking his head.

Now, I believe Gaku Shou will try to finish the job with A Kou and end up being the made an example of Ou Sen's prowess with the glaive. Straight up, right now, I can see Ou Sen taking his head clean off.
