Maybe not VP is not aligned with Dragon’s goals . They both maybe friends but idea of pacifista was to get rid of Pirates like it states in spoilers .

Dragon had no idea this was going through he would have opted out of this idea if he knew there would be clones .

So Saturn’s plan happens around the time of Marineford . We know Kuma was still conscious even back during Thriller bark .

The idea of using Kizaru’s saber with wiping memory must be Saturn’s idea to make perfect soldier . Question comes why VP thought this was ok to wipe his memory ? Question of Vegapunk’s morality comes into picture so far he is shown as nice guy .

Maybe Bonney saw something that enraged her action against Saturn .
