Dragon is the only reason that Kuma get to VP and bonny get cure from his info .
I know people want dragon to do something but he is it just not something cool looking but make a ton of sense war wise.

People say the war thing all the time, and that might make sense IRL, but in the OP world where one elite can replace thousands of combatants that isnt the same value proposition.

It doesnt stop him from looking impotent. Sure he tells him where VP is (hes known the whole time btw), but past that it seems everythings on Kuma, including the bill.

Yeah sure Dragon's leading a bunch of fodder to their deaths, but that doesnt make his character feel impactful. He's like Oden in that everyone tells us how we should feel about him, but we havent seen anything deserving of such importance.

For every other major character we've had moments where their influence and power is shown, but weve only ever seen Dragons shortcomings (unless you count smoker).

Which imo is very lame.

What I presume Bonney can do is control the future she ages into.

She is transforming into a future version of herself where she trained super hard and became buff.

imo unlikely, she took on characteristic strength of buccaneer race and size, human can't do that. so hint she could still be kuma daughter. ginny as child was shown outsmarting her captors so i can see her do it again when captured. if she managed to get age age fruit

also there this sus bit from chapter

King Bulldog visited the church with his mother Conney. Bonney tried practising her transformation while she looked at Conney, so her old form becomes very similar to Conney.

bonney df does not have the power to copy other people image imo, or strength


this imo is hinting bonney may be related to former king relatives, if we go of kuma still dad, with age fruit delaying ginny pregnancy's(spawning later in sorbet kingdom after ginny death)

meaning kuma mother might been linked with royalty, we still don't have info on her background beside she was a human, only father had the blood. but kuma mother and bonney resemble each other with blush cheek as a kid and more straighter hair.

I think Saturn removes Kuma’s memories to make him perfect android this effectively makes him mindless robot . Tragedy ending to this flashback Kuma needs to give this man good thrashing .

Yeah, Vegapunk only wanted to make cyborg clones out of him, not to turn him into an amnesiac cyborg. That's gonna be Saturn's addition, and perfectly explains Bonney's animosity for him.

So Vegapunk initially thought this will be used against Bad pirates welps didn’t Dragon explain him WG are equally bad ? Pretty sure VP never such details with him . It can only mean Dragon doesn’t really trust VP as well but deep down he knows he is good guy who has no evil intention .

It looks to me Dragon became matured over the years maybe he is happy meeting his old friend .

Because this flashback was the opportunity to have him after literal decades do something. And instead he basically gave Kuma an address.

Its a wasted opportunity and paints him as a non-character waiting for everyone with conviction to act first, because he cant risk his own neck.
