Tbf, next chapter's hype is on Oda. He started playing the numbers game, he was found out, and he is the one who is now coy of continuing what he's started out of fear of being too predictable. 100 was Dragon's chapter. Most expect 1100 to build on that. If Oda avoids doing it just to subvert expectations, without keeping the story needs in mind, then readers truly have no fault.
