Rubber being a mythical zoan is the most stupid plot twist in the history of plot twists. Looks like oda is full on ruining his comic mode after sabody arc.

Now if he doesn't make all others mythical zoans too then it makes even less sense

It's not really the worst plot. The point is that Nika is the avatar of freedom and his body exhibits that point.

There are definitely things I don't like about the way it was revealed or how it continues to be handled, but really it's the whole point as to why Oda made up this character instead of using a "god" that already has its own lore.

And DFs are magic because they don't adhere to understanding anyway. You probably weren't pissed off about the plot twist with Ener, Ace getting burned, etc

All of this happened because Kaido was too strong. Whose idea was it to create such a powerful villain? Oda had to find an alternative because all the other options were failing one after another. Ryou failed, Adcoc failed, training in Udon failed—none of it was enough to defeat Kaido, not even the G5.

This reasoning is absurd. Ryou, advanced COC and training in Udon failed because Oda had planned Gear Fifth to success. Hadn't it been the plan, Kaidou would have gone down anyways. The way you're portraying it is like Kaidou controls Oda instead of the other way around, Oda didn't have to find any alternative: had he wanted advanced COC to be enough, it would have been enough. He is the author, for God's sake.
