Not just that but the beliefs of Sufism in general are in contradiction with the original sources. You can’t say practices like these are found in the Quran or the Hadith:

Anyways this may be beyond the pay grade of a weeb forum but if you look into the history of Sufism, it’s in the word where Suf means wool, where you had people who would try to practice asceticism by wearing the roughest of clothing at the time and would seclude themselves a lot. To be ascetic is considered virtuous and is encouraged in Islam, but the practice of dressing poorly and not working for a living and secluding yourself like a monk isn’t what is understood as asceticism according to the original sources. So it started with a misapplication in practice then evolved into what it did. The Ottoman Janisaries and the Sufi mystics who wrote such literature have no theological or textual basis for such actions and statements. The Sufis in the Ottoman Empire went too far for even the Ottomans themselves, the Taymiyyan influenced Ottomans literally cracked down on Sufi houses is that far enough for you?
