For now our president is fighting with the new government cuz two guys in gov, who were supposed to be arrested before (since they were obviously guilty and there were evidences, and it wasn't even for some super long time) got at that time the mercy of president Duda, and now Duda, when gov rewoke that case, started to act like a child who found random animals in garden and try everything to hide them. Right now there's such a circus that youtube government discussion streaming ACC got a silver yt button but still i hope that we will finally have some piece and quiet as much of the power have people who yet have that oil in heads


i was never a gun-for-defense-owning enjoyer, i just want respect and a normal life without extra difficulties due to nasty people but i know it's easier to say than get it all

i feel that our president will go to jail for making difficulties with arresting those two for sure

Hopefully they all go to jail and hopefully unlike my country the Supreme Court (I believe Poland has one, right?) doesn't remove the charges over him for nonsense purposes so he could run for presidency again and take out the new president.

aye, i not once thought about moving but first i would need certificates for my English level to find job abroad and before dad died i was preparing for one since i wanted to study abroad to have a quicker start in that plan. by far i plan to make for sure for c1 at least the english and maybe german as i used to be quite good in it, but now i forgot much of the words :shame: grammar carved in my head, words not that much

i feel that it might be a joke, but still, it's illegal in Poland plus i don't want to. This is a possibility. Bbut usually, those people have very few things in common. For example you will often see myself by labelled a woke.. and perhaps in case of confusionnism a liberal... but you will never see someone call me a far rightist. Why is that ?

Well, simply because my values are coherent with the way I lean in politic. So there is absolutely no reason to mistake me for a far rightist or a libertarian when I'm saying literally the opposite of what their values promotes.

Stuff like this is why I hardly talk to a lot of my friends irl about Israel/Palestine.

There’s deadass a cult around the state of Israel. The one state solution is literally just a solution where Israel, which is occupying the West Bank and Gaza, just give’s Palestinians equal rights to Jewish Israelis and lets them return to lands they were expelled from in 1948.

I think the one state solution is an idealistic and impractical one, but the fact people get so offended at the thought their friend would support it, it’s ridiculous.

- Restricted freedom of speech : Mainly in semiauthoritarian states such as China or Russia where freedom of speech is possible but controlled
- Normal Freedom of speech : Where you can say anything as long as it isn't harmfull for other in one way or another
- Absolute freedom of speech : Where you can say everything, even thing that can create conflict or hurt others and where your words are deprived from responsibilities.

This is of course not a scientific observation, I'm sure sociologist have a better way to look at that.

What I'm defending is normal freedom of speech when you are defending absolute freedom of speech.

I have a really close circle of friends from high school. I don’t get to see them too much but I feel like I understand them better.

A few of them are Jewish and were directly responsible for my eventual interest in the religion. Those people are a lot more nuanced on the conflict and are israel critical.

But the new people I hang out with are kinda sheeple ngl. They’re really nice people, but at least with israel, they seem to just believe everything they’re told and don’t really question mainstream narratives.

The guy was a massive racist. In his own words, he wanted to create an outpost of civilized Europe in the barbarian lands of Asia. And he wanted to ally with antisemites to accomplish this goal.

The idea that Palestinians are uncivilized is basically at the core of Zionism. It’s part of how they’re able to justify what they wanted to do. Which is why they targeted third world countries instead of trying to build a Jewish state in parts of Europe that already had a high Ashkenazi population.
