Akainu let him go. He saw himself in Kuma. A puppet controlled by the celestials. So he felt some sympathy and chose not to murder Kuma right then and there. You know he easily could have if he wanted to.


This is all leading up to Akainu and the whole navy seceding from the WG and being an independent organization that will bring about ruin and death to all pirate scum across the globe

goofy landed wsg because kizaru was focused on punk lol. And wsg was only possible BECAUSE kizaru shot a laser at goofy that sped up his rubbery ass. else it's just a normal g5 punch. Either way, Kizaru is fine and goofy is still down.

There’s no evidence WSG lands before both combatants are tired. As the facts stand Luffy got exhausted by an admiral that wasn’t even trying to fight him.
