But if we're being real, this entire arc had been nothing but serious. The only "gag" going on is Nika. And that's not even a gag.

I bet the people complaining call JJK peak for the author shitting on the MC every chance he gets and hyping up everybody else and making everybody else look good, but the MC. The biggest, most memorable, longest, coolest, best etc etc fights are of the main villain and a supporting character.

Thank god Oda respects his MC unlike Gege ngl.

Can't follow agree with this. Yuji vs Mahito was amazing and one of the community's favorite moments and it's far better than every post time skip Luffy fight

Though JJK is far from peak, and Yuji is definitely the victim of some pretty terrible writing

Luffys endgame isn't the pirate king, just a means to an end. Nika's dream is not to become the pirate king, that's just a means to an end and his dream is not yet revealed but rediculous/impossible from the looks of the reaction. So he will make the impossible become possible. He will make his dream come true even if he needs to become a god for it is the message. Also Nika is not Roger. He is joy boy. That was clear to.

Oda said himself that his initial idea was a pirate boy that went to grand line and faced Yonkos. Nika was never planned. Roger has nothing to do with Nika. Oda came with Nika in the last minute of Wano because the arc was shit and he thought it would be better with it. And he was wrong. He finished killing the worst arc ever in existence.
