Nika is my favorite character, now I'm I one of those crazed obsessed Nika fans obviously not.

But I will say that when it comes to Gear 5, I personally really like it and imo it fits Nika's character. Yeah Nika will sometimes have serious moments but at the end of the day, Nika has always been a goofy character and this whole goofiness of Gear 5 fits Nika really well.

However, I will admit that even though I do like Gear 5, I'm not a huge fan of the whole Nika going "This is fun" while at the same time everyone is in danger and Vegapunk is getting stabbed.

Even in the last arc at Wano, I wasn't a huge fan when Nika said that during his fight against Kaido.

Gear 5s powers and design, love them.
The personality has just been getting too much.

Sure. The problem was becoming prevalent in the Pre-TS, which is why I said "especially in the Post-TS" not only. And unlike the Pre-TS, now there's a whole religion that praises Nika for being Nika, whereas the rest of the Straw Hats are little more than his lackeys at this point.

If want to say they did more stuff back Pre TS then that would be wrong if you calling them lackeys .
In wano they did as much as they used to do in pre time skip arcs.
Issues is they had share panel time with loads of other characters which eating up time and make things seem longer .
Which is a issues for people so i get it .

Well You BETTER take that into account unless you have other arcs to put Law,Blackbeard,Shanks,Kid, Garp and Aokiji in… Egghead is the arc those events happened in my friend. You did not read any of those arcs and enjoy them more than Wano and Egghead why are you lying? Remove expectation and take the arc as it is Egghead and Wano CLEAR POST TIME SKIP. It’s not even close……..

Expectations are extremely important to me and the more the story goes on, the more reluctant I become to accept anything not to my taste. Especially when it doesn't make any sense. Egghead and Wano repeatedly disrupted any coherence the story had and undermined my enjoyment of the series. Big names don't make an arc better by themselves, they make it worse if they fail their purpose.

Even counting what happened outside of the island, only the Kid pirates being obliterated by Shanks was flawless. Sabo's was ok, even though the mother flame "killing" him was poorly written. Garp and Law vs the BB pirates was cool but any hype revolving around the BB pirates was shattered and they'll never get it back. A perfect parallel to the strawhats minus Luffy and Zoro.
Koby's attack was one of the worst moments of the entire manga, on par with Sanji failed attempt to save Luffy on Cocoa Island and just slightly better than Kid and Law v Big Mom
