Sakazuki was barely more powerful than Kuzan. A character who unlike Kizaru was able to actually defeat his WBP opponent despite Marco ~ Jozu.

Sakazuki and Kuzan were always more hyped than Kizaru who wasn’t worthy of being the fleet admiral unlike those two.

In an SBS, when talking about DF superiority and putting Magma > fire, Oda pointed out that DF superiority alone does not make a guaranteed victory. Which would be the most plausible fight to prove that? Aokiji vs the new holder of the Snow Fruit, if it gets found at all? Daz Bones vs. Baby 5? Machvise vs. Mrs Valentine?

Awakened fire + top tier ACoC may be able to do the magic of nullifying the advantage of magma.

That being said, Akainu vs Dragon is also an outcome I can see happening.

Aching scar =/= that the one with the scar will settle things with the one who was responsible for the scarring. The scar Kaido received from Oden ached too, but they never had another match to settle things. Luffy now more than ever is known for uniting people and making them his allies. He doesn't need to settle things with Akainu personally. Which doesn't mean they won't have a clash/fight, but there won't be an all out, extreme diff decisive fight.
