Aside from blocking things and get out of aokijis freeze(shit garp did without it)
Cant Ko akainu after 2 punches to the head
Blackbeard s quake crush did 0 dmg on law and his crew
Blackbeard was forced to use yami vs law bcs quake fruit is mid
This fruit is good only to block things
Kaido and Big mom s fruits are better

Nah, earthquakes get exponentially weaker the further you are from the epicenter.

At close range the Quake fruit might literally be thousands or even millions of times stronger than at range.

Law and co were fighting at range so they were mostly ok.

Akainu was able to take it point blank because he’s fucking Akainu.

There's a reason Law's fruit is worth 5Bill. Beside law was using a hax ability that can pass through any object and if the clash went longer it would have passed thru Teach's hand. So that's why he used Yami to negate that

I don't think the fruit is overrated at all, but it's potential can be easily wasted depending on the user. An experienced user is able to control the intensity of the vibrations/tremors, not all quakes are created equal after all. Teach has spent 26 years taking notes on how WB has used his fruit, he should put all that notes into practice.



In the latest episode 1093 (chapter 1064), he is continuing to mimic his old captain moves instead of creating new ones or expanding on them. He also doesn't use any blade weapons at all, which I'm concerned about since he could just bust out the ol' claw and put small quake bubbles on each end for a devastating slash attack if he wanted to.

Not every Attack have Fixed Power
Same Technique can have various Levels depending on how much Power the User wanna put in it

Enel's El Thor using 10 Million Volt is obviously not the same as El Thor using Enel's Max Power which is 200 Million Volt
Crocodile's Sables He used on a Jailer Beast is not the same Power as One He Used to Destroy Yuba
Just like not all Ursa Shocks Attacks are Equal

You think Jinbe using Vagabond Drill with Water Size of his Fist is same as Vagabond Drill with Water his Size?
You think All of Kizaru's Yasakani Attacks are Same? It depends on how much Power He wanna use
You think All of Fujitora's Raging Tiger Attack are Same? It depends on how much Gravity He wants to Apply
He can either Crush few Buildings with it or He can crush an entire City

Blackbeard only used Gura's Signature Attack so far which is Tremor Crush
And it was just a Demonstration from Oda, Blackbeard used little Power in it
If Oda wants to make each Character use their Full Power in every Attack, dozens of Islands would have disappeared by now or became completely unhabitable

Was there any statement indicating that the strength of a fruit is individual based on the user? I don't remember any. So far a fruit grants you a base level of strength, e.g. Momo being able to create the same size of Boro breath like kaido did. So usop should be shaking islands too if he got the fruit.

What makes the fruit seemingly stronger is that you can make it harder to block by overwhelming the opponent with the physical impact first (WB was a beast in terms of that) and the haki you put in it (WB was a beast in that aspect too).

On top of all comes the individual expertise where the user can makes use of all the nuances instead of just bluntly using it. E.g. WB pointing his quake directly at the metal gates instead of letting it work it's way radially in every direction as usual.

There are fruits granting higher strength than others by default. Ice vs snow, magma vs fire, kg vs ton and also ones that don't really corelate but where one is more powerful than the other like Mr 5's explosion fruit vs gura gura.

So yeah it depends on the user but only in terms of application expertise, physical strength and haki but not the fruit in general.

It literally blocked kroom, something big meme was helpless against

It also just mimicked fujis gravity crush, that move was just to prevent law from attacking bb whilst he was falling and it worked

Also akainu was helpless after 2 hits, sure he wasnt KO, but he was taken out of the fight
