Dory was capable of being taken out by Pre-Alabasta Luffy. Brody was completely powerless against Mr3. Their strength only granted them 100M each.

Now of all a sudden these dudes are really strong and a legitimate threat lol. Feat inflation is real.

I hope you're wrong, because g2/3 was giving Kaidou a beatdown, what was the purpose of that? But what I will say is atleast we know Kizaru forced Luffy out of Snakeman. So Oda didn't go completely braindead, he atleast showed us Luffy using his fastest most effective mode outside G5 before using his most taxing state.

The only issue was he rushed the shit out of it, like maybe he just wanted to drive home the point that G4 Snakeman won't get the job done but imagine you gave those panels to Murata. Oda's lazy ass has just been leaving those fights for the anime to cover.

Oda needs to give us a panel like this with Nika chasing down Kizaru with a Snakeman-like attack:

Overall poisons yes.. I think Luffy would fall to Hell's Judgement still.. And yeah Saturn is a mythical Zoan so his poison has a good chance to be special..

Croc went from being an 80M bounty pirate in the Alabasta arc to now being a ~2B bounty pirate. Dory and Brogy would have ~2.5B bounties if they were introduced now instead of over 20 years ago

Yet Saturn and Kizaru together can't do the same job

You're right it might be too early to celebrate knowing this is One Piece. But from what I read Vegapunk was KOd, Sanji thought he died which means he passed out.

I'm not too worried about KO's anyhow. I only judge attacks for delivering what they intend to do, just like I wouldn't hold it against Kaidou for not being lethal, I don't hold it against Kizaru if after being stabbed by his blade VP would be conscious, is he able to move on? That would be bad.
