As a honest Luffy fan I am very disappointed in Oda, 2 years training, ACOC, mythical god devil fruit awakening and admirals still keep killing people he's supposed to protect?


Nothing changed

Yes, Kizaru completed his mission of killing VP, so he was not nerfed. Luffy and Sanji failed to protect VP and they will have to deal with that L. However, there are still Bonney, Kuma, and if the other VPs are not affected by the original's death, that still need to be protected from Kizaru and Saturn. In order words, there is no time for mourning; there is still work to be done. Bring on the next chapters.

Both Saturn and Kizaru failed quite badly considering their numerical advantage.
Luffy also failed (if VP really died).

Without the giant pirates and the pacifista army, I don't know if anyone would have made it. Luffy will still probably get more help.
