Nika is shit, though it isn't the only thing that ruined One Piece, it's part of a larger series of problems and issues the manga has had for a while and that has grown especially worse during the Yonko Saga.
More than the laughter this is the worst thing about Nika. Hard to give Luffy any credit these days when he's being carried by a god fruit. The man even died but his fruit respawned him. The fruit retcon was one of Oda's worst decisions.
