Which, to my understanding, would mean he cant avoid killing others. Note that at that point he actually went and tried to kill Bonney, where as before he only tapped her and pushed her off Labophase.

I don't know why these dudes jumping down your throat just because you think the AR is a power house. It's ancient tech that needed the combined forces of all the kingdoms to be put out of commission. When has ancient tech evet not be OP in fiction? If anyone has ever experienced WH40K, then you'd know that "ancient tech" can absolutely outclass current tech by a vast, significant margin.
