Whitebeard was using Gura against Ace. Check the Ace novel, its mentioned there. If you think he needs gura for fodder like zoro and sanji then you're unironically underestimating WB/Yonko

Ace who was heavily nerfed with injuries and exhausted due to Seastone cuffs completely negated Kuzan's attack. That not just simply clashing. It means that at full potential, Ace can literally overpower Kuzan's ability.

Also pls tell me what happened after sanji kicked that casual beam from Kizaru?
Oh that's right, he got hit again by a base casual kick and is heavily bleeding.

Also Yami Teach is a low top tier, he negs both Zoro and Sanji at the same time. Ace losing to Teach is a testament of BB strength, not the other way around.
