It’s my belief that Oda didn’t really have a strong idea of what ACoC was until it actually became relevant in the story.

That’s why you have shit like Katakuri and Ulti using black lightning that looks a lot like ACoC.

Oda just didn’t know and didn’t care about what ACoC was. However post wano he has become a lot more consistent.

If you just look within Egghead, Luffy’s initial kick at Kizaru, WSG, and Huhava all have a very different aesthetic from any other black lightning used in the arc. Like compare it to the gura gura no mi and Saturn’s lightning.

Honestly, as of now I have Zoro already more than able to take him, granted he can find a way to do beyond his regeneration (?).

Zoro is already close to Ray now, he is more than able to do it.

Maybe in the next chapters we will put Gandhi above Kaido, but in this chapter he didn't do anything to put him above Zoro's paygrade.
