To think that people thought gorosei weren't fighters hahahahahah
As someone who watches those old kung fu movies with the old grey-haired men whipping ass left and right, I was never one of those people. I am so glad Oda is showing these old immortal dudes flex a little, and now people are putting a little respect on Goroseis' names.

They recover differently for different levels of damage. How long you'd take to recover depends on how much damage you take, not based on whether you remained conscious or not. Lucci got up from Luffy's attacks seconds after getting hit while I can bet after Zoro's attack, Lucci won't be ready to fight for a while. Perhaps, the whole arc will end without Lucci getting any action. That's a complete and utter defeat.

The beasts were defeated by Luffy before they eventually recovered. You don't refrain from calling a defeat a defeat just because peeps can recover from attacks unless they recover immediately and continue the fight, which Lucci evidently can't do. What if he got KO'ed and then got up after ten seconds? You'd call it a defeat. But if you're not unconscious and still take hours if not days to recover, that's not defeat?
So Zoro did defeat Lucci.:neesama:

Why would Jinbei attack a defeated opponent if they were clearly no longer a threat?

With a named attack no less

Did Zoro win? Yes, but if Lucci was no longer a threat due to the damage he took then Jinbei wouldn't feel the need to attack him again

Unless you think there's another explanation
Depends on the level of knowledge Jimbe had on the situation. Does he just charge in, look at Lucci standing, and attack him to take Zoro away as quickly as he can? Or does he see Lucci's condition, and still attack him knowing full well he can't move from Zoro's attack? We don't know that. But we do know for a fact that Lucci couldn't move after Zoro's hit.

On another note, If Lucci is so obviously not defeated, why wouldn't Zoro go for another hit? He should have a better grasp on the situation than Jimbe.

Why would Jinbei attack Lucci, if he didn't feel like a he would be a threat again? He's not the type of character to kick a man when he's down. He did that for a reason.

Yea Lucci was obviously gonna require atleast 1 more attack.

-He was not unconscious even after Jimbei's attack forget Zoro's.
-He did not even fall, still on his feet.
-He has an awakened zoan. So he was bound to recover without another attack.
-Oda is not drawing Jimbei beating on an already fully defeated opponent, it's bad taste.

This is not some anti feat for Zoro, it just means Lucci is a beast. That's all.

Mars or nasjuro

The more legit the gorosei prove to be the bigger joke the Yonkou become, like people had been saying, Yonkou were no more than their pets. Just pieces on the board, which is why not even an Admiral was ever authorized to attack them.
...What???
This literally makes no sense at all, lol.
One: The Yonkou are not jokes just because there's a group of people that are possibly stronger than them. I can understand if they were called the strongest people in the verse and what not, but that isn't even the case.
Two: How are the Yonkou their pets but the Admirals aren't? Keep in mind even when a regular fodder CD got punched by pre ts Luffy they sent an Admiral and not just a strong VA like Tsuru or Pomsky. The Admirals defend any and every CD when ever even though they reasonably shouldn't even have to be at their every beck and call.
Meanwhile this mf Kaidou was literally plotting to drag the CDs off their thrones and off Mariejois and onto a warzone and they didn't even TRY to stop him, in fact they thought they killed Nika and were still talking about losing Guernica to Kaidou and angering him as well, when normally they should value their "victory" against Nika way more than angering Kaidou if he were really just a measly pawn to them.
