If Oda wouldn't have turned completely Nyanyanya retard mode, zoro beheading kaido above Wano after luffy actually beat him in a 1vs1 (if we still call it that) would have been totally fine and reasonable.
It wouldn't have automatically placed zoro above kaido if he had beheaded his defeated zoan form in his last breath but it would have totally wrapped up the ryuuma lore.
But Oda chose to make Nyanyanya the Ryuuma equivalent and keep zoro's heritage completely in the dark.
The ZKK outcome was at least among his ideas but he discarded it for his MC's and Nyanyanya lore's sake.
Which is fine. We got adv CoA and adv CoC on wano. Fuck the lore wank. People in-world think lowly of zoro because he doesn't have a ZKK story that wanks him? He easily disabuses anyone of the notion as Lucci as most recent example experienced sourly.

One Piece will End just like Onigashima Raid
Meaning aside from Main Villain & his Commanders, there are gonna be Nine Major Problems that need to be Solved
(Flying Onigashima - Big Mom - Smile Army - Orochi - Kanjuro/Bombs - Fire - CP-0 - Perospero - Ice Oni Virus)
During Raid, those Nine Problems were Stopped by Nine Allies (With Help ofc)
But in Final War, They are gonna be Solved by Straw Hats
In other words:
One Straw Hat is gonna Behead a Vengeful Villain who returned from the Dead (Just like Ryuma One-Shot)
One Straw Hat is gonna prevent Prophesized World Ending Event (Just like another of Oda's One Shots)
One Straw Hat is gonna stop World Re-Shaping Event (Just like Uranus Originated imo)
One Straw Hat is gonna build a Canon to Stop a World-Dominating Monster (Just like Pluton Originated imo)
One Straw Hat is gonna make a World Conquering Army turn against Main Villain (Just like Poseidon Originated imo)
One Straw Hat is gonna take Revenge on his Friend's Killer (Just like another of Oda's One Shots)
One Straw Hat is gonna Stop a World Ending Disease
... etc
So i believe that in Final War, aside from Final Villain & his Commanders, We are gonna have some Returning Villains with different Motives,
Akainu for example will return Post-Defeat to try & Destroy the World just like Zephyr tried & this Event is known as Ragnarok in Elbaf Prophecies, and We will also have Kaidou returning in similar way to Orochi, so He can take Revenge as well, but Zoro only appears in Final Moment to Behead him, just like Denjiro Killed Orochi, hence why i believe ZKK is still a thing, We were simply wrong for thinking it can happen in Wano without Luffy Defeating Kaidou first
Onigashima Raid is basically Spoilers for both OP Lore & it's Ending, but People care about Power Levels instead,
Momo, Tama & Kid for example were Foreshadowing of how Ancient Weapons came to be
Meaning Sea Kings were Void Century's Villains Army & Poseidon took Control of it
And Pluton was created to Defeat Secondary Villain of Void Century who was sent deep down under Enies Lobby, just like Big Mom's Hole
And Uranus is a Copy of Main Villain's Powers that was used to Stop him from Re-Shaping the World Mid-Way
And this is just a little of what the Raid Revealed
